Boeing Southeast Asia has an opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner, working directly with the Executive Director for HR for APAC and our HR Leader for SEA, this role partners with managers and executive leaders in support of business’ priorities and people on a wide range of HR initiatives and solutions. This role is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The role will provide primary support to Boeing Indonesia and more broadly across Southeast Asia, this position provides HR guidance and advice to a range of business and functional areas across multiple entities. In addition to HR Partnering, this position is responsible for the development, implementation and execution for a number of key priorities and annual HR activities. Work closely with our HRG team across the region and other HR functional teams to develop support and roll out key operational opportunities across various areas Leadership Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Total Rewards and Recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Managers and Senior Leaders to provide HR advice and counsel on areas including performance management, leadership coaching, organizational design and development, policy applications and Enterprise initiatives.

  • Works closely with Southeast Asia based functional and Boeing International Leadership in support of high-level organizational goals and strategies

  • Support in the development and understanding functional and BU strategies, goals, business activities and performance in the country/region;

  • Understands, develops and articulates business HR practices, policies & processes

  • Actively participates in the development, revision and deployment of HR solutions that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.  Proactively addressing issues and makes necessary changes to mitigate organizational risk.

  • Support and project manage Boeing cross-enterprise country HR projects.  

  • Responsible for supporting business leaders across a range of HR projects activities Southeast Asia and 

  • Awareness of the issues and developing trends in human resources in the country or region and to recognise implications to the Boeing business interests; contributing this local perspective and knowledge to the development of Boeing business strategies and practices.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of functional, business unit HR and company-wide initiatives;

  • Working closely with Enterprise and regional teams on HR System and Workday upgrades, changes and process improvements

  • Lead and provide guidance to other team members

About you:

  • Experience in a senior HR role supporting a large global Company, 10 + years’ experience in HR or equivalent roles. 

  • A demonstrated history of engaging and influencing leadership teams.

  • Ability to successfully present business cases to senior leaders for decisions and implement execution plans.

  • Ability to rapidly build strong relationships of influence with key stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex HR solutions and projects

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Confident and professional personal presence

  • Working closely with Labor Relations and Employment Legal team on best practice and advice to business, and implementation of changes for best practice based on awareness issues and developing trends across HR industry.

  • Demonstrated commitment to generating win-win outcomes for customers

  • Exceptional planning, time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to operate proactively in a fast paced and challenging operational environment

  • Demonstrated capability to take a lead role in implementing HR projects

  • Experience in planning, managing and leading change

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or Business Management with a specialization in Human Resources, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR or equivalent roles, with a focus on supporting a large global company in a senior HR position.

  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia to facilitate effective collaboration with local businesses.

  • Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) and engaging with global business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry is a plus.

Work Authorization: 

This requisition is for a locally hired position. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in Indonesia. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll.
