The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Associate or Mid-level) to join the growing Site in Jacksonville, FL.

Primary duties include providing occupational health and safety support to the Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO), and Component Operations Business as part of the EHS Team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents comprehensive Occupational Safety Compliance Programs, management systems, and procedures/plans

  • Interfaces with regulatory agencies, Teammates, and the Site Leadership Team

  • Conducts information exchanges to improve EHS processes

  • Evaluates new technologies and processes to develop strategies and tactics for reducing workplace hazards, ergonomic risks, and environmental impacts

  • Develops education and training materials to support regulatory and business requirements

  • Leads program reviews, investigates incidents and provides corrective action to prevent re-occurrence of incidents

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years performing Occupational Safety in an industrial environment

  • 1+ years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience implementing or managing an environmental, health and safety management system

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects

  • Level 3: 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 2: 1+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Shift:

The position is for first. May be required to support second shift hours as needed.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $75,650 - $102,350

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $89,250 - $120,750
