We are seeking a knowledgeable and Experienced Workplace Coaching Specialist (Level 3) to support our Circuit Card Production Assembly team in Huntsville, AL.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing coaching, training, and mentorship to employees engaged in electronic/electrical assembly operations. This role will ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently and safely, while adhering to quality standards and production requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees on circuit card assembly operations, including the use of shop tools and equipment.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to team members in performing assembly tasks, rework, and modifications to circuit card parts and assemblies.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on the operation of circuit card manufacturing, and other specialized equipment.
  • Observe and assess employee performance during assembly operations, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Assist in defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to assembly efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure that all training and coaching activities are documented in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Support team members in understanding and adhering to technical documentation, including CCA technical drawings, schematics, and process specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and recommend refinements to CCA equipment and integration processes.
  • Analyze production data and quality non-conformance history to assist in root cause analysis and corrective action development.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the team, ensuring that all employees are aware of and follow safety protocols, including the handling of hazardous waste.
  • Maintain licenses, permits, and certifications required for CCA work.
  • Provide support in the setup and maintenance of CCA charts, logs, records, and reports.
  • Assist in the development of shop aides and devices to enhance assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in circuit card manufacturing
  • Proven experience in circuit card assembly operations and familiarity with soldering machines used in circuit card production
  • Strong understanding of Surface Mount Technology and Selective Solder machine and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor team members effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under general supervision and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Previous experience in a coaching or training role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis techniques.
  • Certification in relevant safety and industry standards.

Summary pay range: $79,050 - $106,950 USD

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
