Boeing Global Services, Government (BGS-G) Strategic Sourcing Team is seeking a Procurement Agent (Experienced or Senior) – Team Lead, to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, MO

As the Team Lead, this individual would be committed to the success of the strategic sourcing team by improving current processes, coaching procurement agents on documentation and negotiations, and reporting up to leadership on various projects / initiatives. As an Experienced Procurement Agent, this individual would contract with various suppliers on long-term contracts with performances greater than 3 years and serve as a peer mentor to other procurement agents on the team.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including an Experienced and Senior Procurement Agent.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies

  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions

  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements

  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management

  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management

  • 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

  • 3+ years of experience managing supplier relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)

  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

  • 3+ years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

  • 3+ years of experience with USG and Commercial major subcontracts

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range (Experienced): $75,000.00 – $101,000.00

Summary pay range (Senior): $95,000.00 - $129,000.00
