We are seeking an Experienced Operations Excellence Strategist to join our Global Real Estate, Planning, and Strategy (GREPS) team. The position is available at any of our major Boeing sites.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects that drive strategic initiatives within our real estate portfolio. This role requires a strong ability to manage cross-functional teams, ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget, and provide strategic insights to enhance our planning and execution processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Works closely with management and stakeholders to develop a portfolio of OE initiatives – frames and assesses each to create comparative cost-benefit views to set priorities.

  • Develops and maintains project plans, schedules, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact) and develops associated reports.  Conducts risk assessments and leads planning efforts to evaluate constraints involving process improvement and program initiatives to determine impacts.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including operations, planning, and real estate to maximize benefits and ensure successful project execution.

  • Identifies project risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

  • Facilitates meetings and workshops to gather requirements, define project scope, and drive decision-making.

  • Monitors project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

  • Applies Lean methodology to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and enhance project efficiency.

  • Prepares and presents project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

  • Leads teams through change management activities including pre and post-launch activities.

  • Designs and delivers training programs to support change initiatives and operational improvements.

  • Partners with technology teams to identify, develop, and implement technology solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

Skill Requirements:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).

  • Strong Analytical Capabilities: Able to define and create problem statements, develop potential solutions and conduct relevant cost-benefit analysis to support ROI and change management requirements.

  • Lean Methodology Application: Strong understanding and practical application of Lean principles to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Change Management & Training: Experience leading change management efforts and developing training materials to support organizational transitions.

  • Technology Solutioning: Experience collaborating with technology teams to design and implement operational solutions.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. PowerBI abilities a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.

  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage stakeholder expectations and drive project success.

  • Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and various SaaS tools.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher 

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management

  • 1+ years of experience with principles of facility management or real property planning or corporate real estate

  • 1+ years of experience with technology implementation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s Degree

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred.

  • Experience working in a global or multi-site environment

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to travel as needed for project-related activities

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $81,600 – $126,500
