Boeing’s Real Estates Americas organization is currently seeking an Experienced Operations Excellence Strategist to join our Global Real Estate, Planning, and Strategy (GREPS) team. The position is available at any of the following Boeing sites: El Segundo, CA; Hazelwood, MO; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Renton, WA; Seal Beach, CA; Seattle, WA; Tukwila, WA or Washington, D.C.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and leading complex projects that drive strategic improvement initiatives within our real estate team. This role requires a strong ability to manage cross-functional teams, ensure project deliverables are met on time, lead change management activities, and provide strategic insights to enhance our real estate execution processes.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex real estate improvement projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines 

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce governance processes and documentation to ensure consistent adherence to operational standards across the portfolio

  • Work closely with management and stakeholders to develop a portfolio of operational excellence initiatives; frame and assess each to create comparative cost-benefit views to set priorities 

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, providing regular updates to stakeholders and managers 

  • Create and update comprehensive documentation, including policies, procedures, and best practices related to real estate operations and project execution  

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Boeing’s Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive operational consistency and continuous improvement  

  • Utilize applications such as CoStar and Triana to support real estate data management, reporting, and analysis

  • Apply Lean methodology to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and enhance project efficiency 

  • Conduct data-driven analyses to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost savings, and risk mitigation  

  • Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, and insights to leadership, highlighting key achievements such as time and cost savings  

  • Facilitate change management activities, including training development and delivery, to support adoption of new processes and tools

  • Serve as a governance focal point, monitoring compliance and driving corrective actions as needed

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements

  • Lead teams through change management activities including pre and post-launch activities

  • Design and deliver training programs to support change initiatives and operational improvements 

  • Partner with technology teams to identify, develop, and implement technology solutions that enhance operational effectiveness 

  • Collaborate with onboarding team members within your specialty area (real estate) 

  • Up to 20% domestic travel

Skill Requirements:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello). 

  • Strong Analytical Capabilities: Able to define and create problem statements, develop potential solutions and conduct relevant cost-benefit analysis to support ROI and change management requirements 

  • Lean Methodology Application: Strong understanding and practical application of Lean principles to improve project efficiency and effectiveness 

  • Change Management & Training: Experience leading change management efforts and developing training materials to support organizational transitions

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions, PowerBI abilities a plus 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences

  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage stakeholder expectations and drive project success 

  • Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams), CoStar and Triana

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management

  • 3+ years of developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate operations, strategy development/deployment, and transaction management

  • Experience with Agile practices and processes

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams

  • Able to travel up to 20% domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • PMP certification or actively pursuing PMP

  • Experience with Smartsheet, PowerBI, Project Web App (PWA)

  • Experience with Information Technology Program or Project Management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $87,550 - $126,550
