Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Quality Multi-Family Manager (Level L) to support the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) team onsite in Everett, Washington on 2nd shift

In this role, you will be driving improvements within the program to ensure teams are prepared for and continuously improving with the goal of zero injuries, zero defects, and zero Foreign Object Debris (FOD). The selected candidates will have the unique opportunity to transform the work we do, develop our teams, and integrate across organizations and the enterprise. You will lead and mentor a team of managers with employees performing a variety of quality functions. 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors 
  • Leads, mentors, coaches, and teaches a team of Front-line Managers 
  • Leads process improvement and Boeing Production Systems (BPS) activities for quality at the ESRC 
  • Leads the day-to-day activities for a group of quality teams in support of multiple Programs (i.e. 737/767/777) 
  • Partners with other functions to ensure processes used to manage, develop, and improve areas are effective and integrated 
  • Monitors and acts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams 
  • Provides education and coaching on connecting the quality systems and processes 
  • Understands business objectives, strategies, and conditions affecting all areas of the programs 
  • Develops and maintains partnering relationships with program leaders, quality stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports 
  • Develops and maintains partnering relationships with peer team members in Renton Final Assembly 
  • Communicates and conveys quality status and actions taken to improve the area with upper leadership 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 3+ years of experience in a formal Front-line leadership role 
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners 
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership role leading teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change 
  • 3+ years of experience leading and influencing people in a Quality organization 
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
  • Able to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Experience in Material Review Board (MRB) processes 
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (BPS) 
  • Experience with team building, developing, and motivating employees 
  • Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $154,700 - $209,300
