The Boeing Company is currently seeking an SAP Senior Manager to join the team in Everett, WA; Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX; Hazelwood, MO; Miami, FL; Ridley Park, PA; or Seattle, WA.   

As the Systems, Applications & Products Senior Manager, you will be the main responsible manager for the SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) and SAP Plan to Perform (PL2Pe), maintaining the template and landscape up to date, supporting the business in designing and developing new solutions, ensuring that all changes, projects, enhancements and fixes are applied according to the SAP activate methodology and best practices of the industry. As the SAP functional leader, you will manage the functional team based on the business priorities, coordinating and communicating in a timely manner with the stakeholders. As an important agent for change and innovation, you’ll need to be up to date with recent updates of existing and new modules in the market, SAP and non-SAP, that bring efficiency or robustness to the core business process while pushing cutting edge technologies or automation. The focus of the role is to manage the EPPM and PL2Pe value streams.

The individual is expected to be an expert in global organization management with the ability to handle team members dispersed across multiple United States (US) sites as well as other global locations outside of US. Strong business acumen and excellent partnership skills are of paramount to work in demanding and highly skilled work environment to collaborate and influence people and decisions from the stakeholders and other IT divisions. The role reports to the executive director and the individual is expected to lead a team of Senior Managers and individual contributors in higher levels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of SAP EPPM and SAP PL2Pe implementation experts through SAP S4 projects, responsible for design and delivery within our SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) organization

  • Create stakeholder communications with Leadership Teams, Project Teammates and SAP CoE partners

  • Create standards and maintain templates for successful EPPM and Pl2Pe implementations

  • Ensure clear, concise project overview and status content is readily available for Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) organization leaders

  • Identify and lead process improvements and apply best SAP Practices and Industry Standards

  • Support and manage skill and career growth for reporting team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and SAP Controlling (CO) and its integration with SAP EPPM for financial tracking and reporting

  • 8+ years of experience in implementing SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management) in SAP S4

  • 8+ years of experience with leading and managing teams through SAP S4 projects

  • 5+ years of experience in managing financial cost reporting within PL2Pe

  • 3+ years of experience in budgeting and cost analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4HANA Portfolio and Project Management

  • Experience with SAP Active Methodology and Agile implementations

  • Experience guiding teams through complex business requirements to enable execution with credibility and integrity

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $151,300 – $218,500
