Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist (Level 3 or Level 4) to join the Total Quality Compliance and Process Team based in Everett, WA.

This individual will play a crucial role in helping us Strengthen our Quality Management System across BCA. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic and creative thinking skills, utilizing data and analytics to make well-informed decisions. It is essential that the candidate can effectively collaborate in cross-functional teams and establish partnerships with senior leaders. Additionally, the candidate should have a background in program and project management, along with a solid understanding of LEAN principles and root cause corrective action. Monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments will be key responsibilities for the candidate. The candidate should have a good grasp of processes, rules, and regulations. Adaptability to changes in tasks, work environment, and work structures is a key strength.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Senior Quality Specialist.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participates in multi-function, multi-site teams to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed

  • Participates with stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions

  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability

  • Assist senior management on preparation for third party audits

  • Participate in the Identification and proposals of projects, objectives, and milestones

  • Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems

  • Contributes to the development of new processes and standards

  • Leads efforts to identify projects and processes improvement implementations

  • Implements solutions for corrective action solutions

  • Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience data mining, processing, and analysis

  • 3+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Application Suite such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • 3+ years of experience with root cause/corrective action methods

  • 3+ years of experience working with Problem Solving

  • 3+ years of experience developing presentations for leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • 3+ years of experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience developing & supporting project plans through the full project lifecycle

  • Experience using LEAN manufacturing/BPSM techniques for process improvement

  • Experience in a manufacturing or factory support environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $86,700 - $112,000

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $107,000 - $138,000
