Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Supplier Quality Systems Specialist (Level 2 or 3) in Everett, Washington to join our Quality Engineering team within Supplier Quality which works on developing and implementing preventive measures/processes to identify and mitigate risk in the supply base. The selected candidates will work within a diverse team and in a dynamic environment to shape the long-term strategy for escape prevention.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem solving, engaging with the production system, and doing complex data analysis. Quality Systems Specialist supports existing production through process improvement techniques involving defect reduction, verification system design and improvements, and ensures compliance to requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
  • Assures program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed. Identifies root cause of problems.
  • Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.
  • Uses statistical methods and quality tools to continuously improve process capability.
  • Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions.
  • Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.
  • Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience developing reports and presentations for executive leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience in collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for management.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with advanced Excel features such as Power Query, Macros & Advanced Formulas.
  • Experience in data analytics, collecting, analyzing, synthesizing.
  • Experience with Data Reporting tools such as Tableau, WebArt, Mini-Tab.
  • Skill at defining and prioritizing critical requirements.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay ranges:

Level 2 - $$76,500-$93,500/Annually

Level 3 - $91,800-$112,200/Annually
