Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for aQuality Production Specialist (Level 3 and 4) based out of Everett, WA to support the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC).

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team in the ESRC. This position will support all organizations within the ESRC.  The MRBD/QAI investigator will support our programs by performing collective analysis on nonconformance records to identify systemic issues and opportunities to obtain corrective action from our global suppliers. In this role one will be expected to: collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, track and respond to supplier communication, and support Program integration meetings.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Oversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processes.
  • Guides the review of production plans.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
  • Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance.
  • Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field.
  • Establishes process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives.
  • Oversees the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion.
  • Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
  • Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminated. Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity.
  • Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution.
  • Works under minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring lower level technicians.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions
  • 3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • 3+ years of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • 3+ years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions.
  • 3+ years of experience in collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of MRBD experience creating NCR dispositions.
  • Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with (CMES) Common Manufacturing Execution System
  • Experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment
  • Experience in performing and coaching root cause analysis and problem solving for all levels of leadership.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay ranges:

Level 3 - $94,500-$115,500

Level 4 - $117,900-$144,100
