Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate (Level 2) or Mid-Level (Level 3) ProjectManagement Specialist to join the Manufacturing Operations Support & Logistics (MOS&L) Strategic Initiatives team in Everett, WA.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team.  Project Management examples for the Manufacturing Operations Support & Logistics (MOS&L) Strategic Initiatives Team could include supporting Analytics, Business Management, Logistics, Motive Equipment Operations, Overhead / Crane / Site Support and Product Movement, Equipment Services, Tool Construction, Lean, and 737 North Line implementation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.

  • Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.

  • Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

  • Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.

  • Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.

  • Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • 1+ years of experience communicating with employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership

  • 1 + years of experience in a role that required effective time management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • 1 + years of experience in project management (supporting diverse programs and projects) with the capability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

  • 1 + years of experience developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in a Business Operations or Project/Program Management role

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

  • Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, including managing multiple priorities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • Experience with Microsoft Project Web Application

  • Experience with Tableau

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $78,300-$91,500

Summary pay range Mid-Level (Level 3): $99,000-$115,000
