The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Configuration Management & Release Team has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Mid-Level Product Data Management Specialist - Process Management to join the team in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain objects in Microsoft SQL Server to support Engineering Approval, Supplier Drawing Release, Loadable Software, and Engineering Release processes, including tables, views, functions, and stored procedures
  • Support the transition of Non-IT maintained applications that support Engineering Approval, Supplier Drawing Release, Loadable Software, and Engineering Release processes from Adobe ColdFusion to .NET (C#/Blazor)
  • Manage and maintain Non-IT maintained .NET applications that support Engineering Approval, Supplier Drawing Release, Loadable Software, and Engineering Release processes
  • Perform IT compliance activities to include dynamic and static application scans, Access Control Policies, Disaster Recovery Plans, Risk Sorter Assessments, and System Criticality Assessments
  • Provide testing and end-user support for Engineering applications
  • Provide key input in defining the requirements for effective measures of the release processes
  • Lead the effort to maintain, develop, and improve release metrics visibility

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience developing in ColdFusion, .NET, C#, Visual Basic, or Python
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle/SQL or MySQL
  • Experience in IT compliance and Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate's degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science related field Associate's degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science related field
  • Experience in troubleshooting code for software applications
  • Experience building positive relationships, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly
  • Experience in developing engineering application software
  • Ability to clearly communicate at the senior management Level

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $85,000 - $115,000
