The Boeing Corporate is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 5) to join our team in Everett, WA.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and forward thinking. Our Project Management Specialists maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects aligned to strategic organizational priorities and advance project management functional excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will also develop a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Airplane Development business specific to our new 777-8 Freighter airplane.

Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Develops solutions to unique challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions.

Serves as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the company on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry.
  • Oversight, and management responsibility for complex projects in support of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.
  • Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
  • Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate leadership.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools.
  • Experience using Program Management Best Practices in your work.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and/or other Project Management tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion.
  • Experience with managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrates qualities including flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and works well under pressure, systems thinking, organizational skills, curiosity, follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, on airplane programs or supporting the production system.

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $145,000-$157,000
