Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a passionate, proactive and ambitious Project Management Specialist (Experienced) to join the newly developed and growing Supply Base Capacity team based in Dallas, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with leadership and team project leads to develop, integrate, and track all project plans with the ability to summarize for executive level review. Additionally, you will support workshop activities – preparation, facilitation and post-workshops, and manage risk and mitigation activities.  Lastly, the ideal candidate will lead process and playbook development and implementation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

  • Uses Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) to develop robust operating and reporting rhythm for programs to ensure a successful outcome.

  • Perform studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives

  • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

  • Identifies risks, issues and opportunities, leads planning and actively manages cross-functional mitigation plans and refines the business case

  • Develops and contributes to continuous improvements for both individual work and team processes, develops solutions to complex problems, works independently, and initiates assignments while recognized as a job expert within the team and organization.

  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies

  • Contribute to team process development, documentation and implementation

  • Support workshops hosted by Supply Base Capacity team – Coordinate agenda, pre-work, facilitation, minutes, actions, etc. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Project management (scope, schedule, risk, communication, coordination, execution, and control)

  • 3+ years of experience creating and networking complex schedules in Microsoft Project

  • 3+ years of experience creating workshop charters, developing agendas & facilitation plans, and facilitating workshops

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

  • 3+ years of experience with processes analysis, processes development, and process improvement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Supplier Management Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strategic Contracting Experience

  • Customer Facing Experience

  • Experience in data or business analysis

  • Experience in forecasting and asset management

  • Experience developing processes in Visio

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $77,000.00 – $110,000.00
