Lead Support Planning and Management Specialist - WGS GSCCE

Why This is an Exciting Role: 

The Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems Division's Global Satellite Configuration and Control Equipment (GSCCE) program is seeking motivated, goal-achieving, and team oriented specialist to support update, upgrade, and development efforts for the global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground system that will manage the WGS Payloads for all F1-F12 satellites — for the Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:  

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+7 years related work experience, 13 years related work experience, etc.).

Required Qualifications: ​

  • Reviews document for internal consistency and adherence to Boeing and program standards.
  • Oversee configuration control of work products
  • Generates Configuration Management (CM) records as evidence of adherence to program CM plans and Boeing standards
  • Reviews and Releases documents
  • Review and release documents, conducts Change Boards, and respond to internal audits and customer queries
  • Leads activities to define and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management, and engineering processes
  • Develops, documents and implements plan and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control
  • Works under minimal direction
  • Maintains Shipping and Receiving records (Including new orders and warranty replacement)
  • Performs Contractual Data Deliveries
  • Responds quickly and directly to rapidly changing customer requirements
  • Uses an enthusiastic, hands-on approach to work and coordinate activities across the entire program team 
  • Leads small team of individuals conducting configuration management support to the program

Desired Qualifications: ​

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD Security programs
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace industry

Summary Pay Range:

$89,000 - $159,000
