The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Executive Compensation Operations Senior Manager to join their team and report directly to the Senior Director of Executive Compensation. This role can be based in Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL or Berkeley, MO.

The Senior Manager will lead and oversee the executive compensation proposal process, perquisites, severance benefits and executive stock ownership/stock holding requirements. This role is pivotal in ensuring competitiveness, alignment with business strategy, and operational excellence. This position also serves as a key partner to Human Resources and Total Rewards leadership in delivering data-driven compensation solutions for executives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with total rewards partners and talent team to develop executive compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent, aligning them with the Company’s objectives and business needs

  • Create executive compensation strategies and priorities, in partnership with Vice President, Total Rewards and Senior Director, Executive Compensation

  • Create executive compensation recommendations for all promotions, lateral moves with additional responsibilities and external hires

  • Develop and implement tools and processes for tracking executive movements

  • Review the effectiveness of current executive compensation operations, evaluate best practices and drive process improvement initiatives

  • Ensure effective implementation and communication of executive perquisite programs for eligible executives

  • Make recommendations regarding changes to existing programs based on market data

  • Monitor and assess executives’ compliance with stock ownership and holding requirements and implement appropriate measures if non-compliance occurs

  • Assist businesses with executive severance events

  • Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR) Systems teams to ensure effective technological support for compensation programs

  • Work with the finance team to ensure adequate estimates and calculation of compensation expenses for budget planning processes

  • Support broader enterprise priorities across Total Rewards, as applicable

  • Develop compelling communication materials to educate managers and HR business partners on executive compensation programs in an engaging and understandable format

  • Provide executive compensation support on Mergers and Acquisitions and divestiture activities

  • Supervise staff, ensuring high levels of engagement and productivity

  • Participate in special executive compensation projects, gaining hands-on experience with advanced compensation concepts/methodologies and strategic planning

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in development, communication, facilitation, or support of compensation or rewards programs

  • 5+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management

  • 5+ years of experience in executive compensation and/or total rewards

  • 3+ years of experience creating executive level presentations and using Word, Power Point and Excel

  • 3+ years of experience leading direct reports

  • 3+ years of experience with executive compensation surveys

  • Experience performing industry benchmarking to develop company standards and best practices

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related degree

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) designation

  • 10+ years of experience in Executive Compensation and/or Total Rewards

  • Experience attracting, managing, and developing a high performing team

  • Experience using Equilar, ISS or other similar benchmarking and analysis tools

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $163,200 - $235,750
