Boeing Global Services, Ground Support Equipment, is currently seeking an experienced Support Integration Specialist for our Berkeley, MO (St. Louis area) facility.  This role requires an understanding of logistics systems, procurement processes, basic safety systems, basic quality systems, and materials management processes and systems.

This employee will manage the On-Platform Ground Support Equipment Production and Repairs Lab. Tasks will include establishing lab support requirements and definitions, statement of work break-down, reports, master schedule, program implementation and lab integration plans. The lab manager will coordinate and gather data for estimates in support of proposal activities and research and development efforts. The lab manager will develop processes and coordinates activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current. The lab manager will conduct presentations, status reviews, and monitor execution of support programs. Finally, the lab manager will conduct troubleshooting, test, and repair of electrical and electronic ground support equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in an avionics or ground support equipment lab, repair, or maintenance environment.
  • The ability to interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and parts lists is required.
  • The ability to utilize mechanical and electrical engineering drawings to troubleshoot and develop test plans is required.
  • The ability to from projects from beginning to end, manage engineering configurations, support bid and proposal activity related to production, test, and repair of ground support equipment are all required.
  • The ability to provide training on procedures and processes related to engineering, production, and repair in a lab environment is required.
  • The ability to communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure product and services compliance is required.
  • The ability to manage material acquisition, receipt, fabrication, and customer delivery using GOLDesp and approved Material Management & Accounting best practices is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Fifteen (15) or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in project management such as scheduling, resource management, and performance measures.
  • 12+ months experience using the GOLDesp Material Management Software
  • Experience in Product Support / Logistics Concepts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong communication skills and customer focus

Summary pay range: $132,600 – $179,400
