The Boeing Company is looking for a DevSecOps Software Senior Manager, to join theAir Dominance team located in theBerkeley, MO.The successful candidate will manage a team of DevOps and Software Engineers responsible for developing software andmaintaining all aspects of a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)DevSecOps software build pipeline.

This role will oversee software development that uses an agile methodology focused on code quality, security, and automation. As the engineering leader, you will be responsible for executing existing project plans and alsoacquiring and managing resources for successful future project execution and developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide technical oversight on team activities, lead process improvements, and drive employee development initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers performing software development and technical activities focused on implementing DevSecOps practices, optimizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automating software build, testing, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency, security, and quality in software delivery
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with industry partners, customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of software products and capabilities with an emphasis on Continuous Improvement, cyber assessment, and monitoring
  • Direct the implementation of a fully automated environment orchestrated via Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including the development of software and maintenance of all software and firmware artifacts
  • Develop and implement real-time DevSecOps metrics and dashboards to monitor software performance, enhance visibility into the development process, and drive continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Active ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting software engineering projects that utilize Agile Software Development methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience leading a project or team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or experience typically acquired through advanced technical education
  • Background in Digital Ecosystems (and/or Mission Systems) engineering development activities
  • Experience with DevSecOps Software Development processes including the use of software containers, cloud native development including container orchestration and deployment of Microservices
  • Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of Digital Infrastructure, CI/CD, automated control handling, automated compliance, networking, and advanced cyber policies and concepts
  • Experience leading multiple parallel development schedules
  • The personal flexibility and willingness to travel to customer and supplier sites
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with senior and executive leadership

Summary Pay Range for Senior Manager: $154,700 - $209,300

Security Clearance

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
