The Boeing Company is currently seeking F15 Software Engineers (Associate, Experienced, or Senior Level) to join the Special Equipment Group (SEG) located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

A proprietary program is expanding its business and is looking for additional software engineers to support product development. The products are part of analysis systems used by combat personnel and include algorithmic analysis as well as data management.  The customer is expanding product capabilities to support the fielding of new systems and to incorporate new technologies.  This proprietary program attracts new business as a result of user community recognition. 

The product target OS is Windows running on PCs. All products are developed using .NET C# within a strong object-oriented architecture. The Integrated Development Environment for source code and GUI development is Microsoft Visual Studio.  Automated unit and integration testing are developed in C# using a custom C# framework for automated integration testing using UI Automation. Qualification testing is manual and is performed on the target PC hardware. Developer work stations consist of a development tech PC and a PC for external access.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate, Experienced, and Senior Software Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define software requirements

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test software in C#/Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)

  • Participate in an Agile scrum team

  • Implement new features and enhancements

  • Investigate and resolve software problem reports / bugs

  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a SecretUS Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 2 plus years’ experience as a software engineer

  • 1 plus years’ experience with C# and .NET

  • Great communications and writing skills (Critical thinking skills; flexible team environment)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree

  • Design experience within a layered software architecture using Object Oriented (OO) Design and Analysis concepts along with OO Design Pattern application is required

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • A solid history of using the aforementioned tools, languages, and techniques to develop applications for Windows based PC applications

  • Development experience using C# and WPF is strongly desired

  • Familiarity with SQL and SQL Server is desired

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as scrum or SAFe

  • Knowledgeable in tools such as Jenkins, Git, Jira, BitBucket and Visual Studio

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for Associate: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00.

Summary pay range for Experienced: $104,550.00 - $141,450.00.

Summary pay range for Senior: $127,500.00 - $172,500.00.

Security Clearance
