Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business is looking for an Entry Level Product Acceptance Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS.

The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at the above-mentioned location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts dimensional and visual inspections

  • Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements

  • Conduct visual Inspections for obvious defects.

  • Scanning of certifications, packing slips, test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received

  • Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Standards.  Disposition and control on non-conforming products.

  • Assist in internal, customer and third-party audits.  Identify and communicate opportunities to increase Inspector productivity.

  • Assist with the on-hold process. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1-2 years of related work experience

  • Familiar with the use of Calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, and other inspection tooling

  • Knowledge and understanding of traceability

  • Fluent in English, reading, writing and verbal communication

  • Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Previous aerospace inspection experience

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Knowledge of AS9100 requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

  • Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts

  • DFAR Experience

Summary pay range: $15 P/H - $17 P/H
