Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Career Level Numerical Control Programmer of the San Antonio Manufacturing Center support group in in San Antonio, TX.

The primary focus for this position is the development and integration of CAD/CAM programs for HAAS and HURCO machine centers.  The position will support all programs across two campuses; including F-15, F-18, C-17, and Boeing Executive Fleet.

The successful candidate will have experience with, knowledge of, or familiarity with one or more of the following: military aircraft maintenance, knowledge in CAD/CAM systems NC program development for component fabrication, sheet metal fabrication, and form-block design.    

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Ability to work on site 5 days per week.
  • May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience with computer aided design (CAD) tools for the design of mechanical components/assemblies.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
  • 2+ years’ experience utilizing CAD/CAM software (preferred CATIA, Vericut simulation, MasterCAM,).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education.
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • 4+ years’ experience utilizing CATIA V5 NC Programming and Vericut within a 5-axis machining environment.
  • 4+ years’ experience with the set-up, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of machine tools.
  • Previous metrology experience including application of GD&T.
  • Completed Haas CNC operator or programmer training.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Associate Level Summary Pay Range: $67,150 - $90,850

Mid-Career Summary Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000
