The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer – Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead & Test Program Integrator (TPI) to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. 

This position will support the B-52 Radar Modernization Program (RMP) Ground Test/Flight Test (GT/FT).  This role will be responsible for supporting the Bombers Test Program Manager (TPM) by leading both (1) the internal integration of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) capabilities and resources to ensure BT&E commitments to the program are met, and (2) the program’s GT/FT IPT.  The role entails the integration of BT&E capabilities and resources with other RMP IPTs, Systems Engineering Integration & Test team, the B-52 System Program Office (USAF), and government development and operational test organizations.  This role serves as a Flight/Test Mission Assurance Readiness Review board member.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Senior and Lead level IPT lead and TPI’s.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation and coordination of the Program Integrated Test Plan; detailed Test &Evaluation (T&E) plans, program ITP, Giver-Receiver Lists 
  • Prepare and maintain requirements traceability, verification metrics, program requirements documents
  • Assess testability, verification plans, detailed test plan, test procedures
  • Support and conduct program reviews, Critical Design Review, Flight/Test Mission Assurance Readiness Review, Test Readiness Review, Flight Readiness Review, Operational Test Readiness Review, Non-Advocate Reviews, internal/external Program Management Reviews, etc.
  • Implement program specific processes for test planning, design, procurement, build, and execution.   
  • Meet cost & schedule execution commitments for GT/FT activities, EVM/CAM, configuration management, data management, RIO
  • Manage the Test Program baseline, participate in the change management process and assure the organization, work statement, schedule, costs, and RIO are kept in sync
  • Coordinate with BT&E stakeholders (management, partners, segments, sub-teams, suppliers, value streams, capabilities) via working group and coordination meetings
  • Analyze and verify staffing forecasts monthly for all BT&E teams supporting the program
  • Lead internal BT&E Program Management Reviews
  • Accountable for test modification kits for test aircraft, from requirements development through kit delivery at the modification site
  • Prepare proposal response products; technical volume, cost volume, program execution plan, basis of estimate (BOE)
  • Support contract negotiations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain special program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science  
  • 5+ years of experience supporting a military flight test program
  • 3+ years of experience with system assembly, integration & test, including requirements traceability culminating in requirements validation & verification
  • 1+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • 1+ years of experience estimating costs and developing schedules meeting EVM requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Lead (Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for senior level: $106,250 – $143,750

Summary pay range for lead level: $126,650 - $171,350
