Job Description

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Entry Level Production Coordinator - Fabrication (Level A) to join our Cutter Kitting operations team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

The successful candidate will be supporting inventory management including shipping, receiving, cycle counting and kit replenishment.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Assist with processing and movement of production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.

  • Assist in monitoring work in process.

  • Post updates to automated systems to insure parts availability. Identifies problems or discrepancies with parts and materials.

  • Assist within the work group to expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.

  • Work under close supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with inventory management and material [requirements] planning systems

  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

  • Ability to support any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain management

  • 1+ years of experience in electric and manual pallet jack operation

Relocation:

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift. Training will take place during 1st shift for up to 90 days.

Pay and Benefits:

Summary pay range: $43,000 - $44,000
