Job Description

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Associate or Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B or C) to join the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC)Quality Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift!

Position Responsibilities

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results.
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies.
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
  • 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
  • Must be able to walk up/downstairs and bend/stoop frequently

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results
  • 787 Program Experience
  • Experience in a team environment
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience

Typical Education & Experience

Associate (Level B): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Experienced (Level C): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Shift

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for Associate (Level B):$55,500 - $65,500

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level C):$61,200 - $67,000
