We are seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for electrical components and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, manufacturing techniques, and quality assurance practices.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for electrical components, ensuring efficiency and quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, quality assurance, and production staff, to improve product manufacturability.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate waste in production processes.

  • Perform testing and validation of electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

  • Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, including pilot runs and full-scale production.

  • Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

  • Provide technical support and training to production personnel on electrical manufacturing processes and equipment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • Experience in Model Based Definition Engineering

  • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering Build Team (i.e. Engineering reviews, pre-planning, planning support)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrated Leadership Capabilities

  • Strong foundation in 3D modeling environment (i.e. Creo View, Catia, Solidworks, etc.)

Summary pay range: $90,100 - $121,900
