Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business is looking for an Experienced / Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3/4) to join our team in Miami, FL.

Position Summary:

  • Leads and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.

  • Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.

  • Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews. Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.

  • Prepares and analyzes complex data to develop and manage multiple data sets to run demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects. Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance business processes.

  • Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support the business in achieving desired results.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting departmental teams on a wide range of business reports on key company metrics; reviews data for accuracy; analyzes data and trends and includes any finding or recommendations when distributing report.

  • Conducts periodic performance reports at various levels of aggregation; understands data and is able to analyze possible risks and trends; distributes to stakeholders to influence decision making.

  • Establishes priorities and meet deadlines and drives data projects by gathering requirements from internal stakeholders, ensures that requirements are in line with overall objectives and translating those requirements to Business Intelligence team when advanced SQL and development work is needed.

  • Designs, constructs, documents, and maintains ad hoc reports.  Conducts analysis and makes recommendations based on analysis where necessary.

  •  Recommends and executes enhancements for reporting based on stakeholder feedback.

  • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Miami, FL

Export Control:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, if applicable.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6 or more years of related work experience

  • Excellent computer skills especially in Excel and Access

  • Experience with aggregating and summarizing large amounts of historical data and identifying trends or problems

  • Experience with basic ERP system functionality, OBIEE or similar reporting tool

  • Exposure to data management concepts and tools

  • Strong presentation skills, communication skills (written/oral)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years of related work experience

  • Up to 4 years of experience in an analyst role or related experience

  • Detail-oriented. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience managing projects

  • Ability to adapt changing business needs and priorities

  • Results driven with a can-do attitude to ensure solutions

  • Ability to multi-task; work well under high pressure

  • Team oriented; ability to build relationships (internal/external) and interact effectively with other departments

Typical Education/Experience (Experienced):
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Typical Education/Experience (Senior):
Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range (Experienced): $67,000 – $95,000

Summary pay range (Senior): $84,000 - $120,000
