Job Description

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Programmer Analyst to join the team in Kent, WA; El Segundo, CA; Hazelwood, MO; Long Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA.

Join the Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization as a versatile programmer analyst on the Environment Health and Safety (EHS) product team! In this high-impact role, you will take a technical-first approach to execute application-specific product backlogs, focusing on both enhancements and sustainment activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands and develops software solutions to meet end user's requirements

  • Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools

  • Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity

  • Utilizes knowledge of Microsoft-based software development background (with a focus on .NET technologies) including full understanding of application architecture concepts, Object-Oriented design principals, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), design patterns, proficiency and able to maintain and follow established development methodologies on all projects

  • Develops and maintains code, and integrating multiple source systems into a unified, single solution used across the globe to streamline compliance and regulatory management and   provide proactive data analytic information.

  • Works in an Agile environment; participating in daily scrums and collaborating with team members

  • Supports the integration process for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and Boeing software solutions to meet end user's requirements, utilizing standard methodologies and tools.

  • Delivers code with first time quality utilizing industry best practices

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/business analysts to define technical and process requirements and converts business requirements into technical solutions using appropriate and applicable application development technologies

  • Helps with end user training and demonstrates the ability to interact with customers to provide guidance

  • Builds client-side business solutions with latest scripting methods including the use of standard frameworks and design patterns

  • Utilizes people and communication skills along with strong technical and problem-solving skills to strengthen business relationships

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with RestAPIs

  • 3+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming in a high-level language like C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, and CSS

  • 3+ years of experience with web services development

  • 3+ years of experience using SQL queries

  • 3+ years of experience working within a development environment using Agile methodologies

  • 3+ years of experience with Relational Databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, Teradata

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Enablon Nabsic, Asp.net MVC, ADO.NET, NUnit, Nlog, SOAP UI

  • 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft based development tools

  • 3+ years of experience in web hosting technologies/tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $135,700
