Boeing Global Services, Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management organization is seeking an Experienced Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join the BGS-G International Strategic Sourcing team in Hazelwood, MO or Philadelphia PA  The successful candidates will support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supplier Management organization. This position acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Hazelwood, MO or Philadelphia PA.

Position Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage priorities for a high volume of international supplier purchase orders/contracts/agreements

  • Manage contractual documents and binding agreements including preparing, negotiating, executing, and documenting Request for Proposals (RFP), supplier contracts, and purchase orders in accordance with regulatory requirements and Boeing procedures

  • Support Proposal Board activity including gathering supplier cost and lead time inputs to support customer proposals, Requests for Information (RFI), and business development opportunities

  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities to ensure delivery, quality, and financial stability

  • Manage supplier performance, interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions

  • Initiate supplier improvement activities, while integrating and aligning with program business unit goals and strategies

  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders to ensure that program and customer strategies are integrated into supplier source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies

  • Communicate across functions, programs, and suppliers to effectively manage risks, issues and opportunities

  • Lead special projects to execute continuous improvement initiatives

  • Possess general understanding, ability, and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations

  • Possess general knowledge of company and local policies, procedures and regulations

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • 3+ years' experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

  • 3+ years' experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions

  • Fluent in both verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 3+ years' experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • 3+ years' experience managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships and supplier performance

  • 3+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).

  • 3+ years of experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: 74,800 – 101,200.
