The Project Management Center of Excellence is a community that supports decision makers to manage the project portfolio and the Project managers to deliver project through enabling first class project management.

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCOE) team during summer. In this role, you will support operations by updating dashboards, ensuring the smooth flow of project status information, and discovering and improving processes and best practices for our implementation project. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your business skills and gain insight into the airline industry.

We are looking for a creative, curious, and self-motivated individual who is passionate about applying their business knowledge and eager to learn about operations coordination and project management within the airline industry. Your responsibilities will include understanding and communicating user needs, enhancing presentation materials, conducting data analytics, and researching best practices. Your contributions will significantly impact the execution of our implementation projects.

This is a full-time, paid internship lasting from beginning of June until end of August, with the possibility of extension until the end of November. If you have a passion for project management, we encourage you to apply.

As a Summer Intern you will:

  • Collaborate with managers and project managers to develop knowledge and insights for how PMCOE can improve to meet objectives

  • Improve & automate existing project management processes and templates

  • Help to drive improvement work focus within the PMCOE the team towards the right objectives to meet the needs of different stakeholders

  • Work with various functions of the organization to roll-out process changes and improvement initiatives

We are looking for an intern with some knowledge in software development and project management as well as showing strong communication and co-operation skills. Interest and expertise in solving problems with the help of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Confluence and being solution oriented is highly valuable in the role. For this position it is vital that you are passionate about learning the airline business.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Economics or a related field of study

  • You have a graduation date between 2025 - 2027

  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2025

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Skilled in working with Excel and PowerPoint

  • You are self-propelled with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Full Professional Proficiency level for communication and interpersonal skills in English

  • We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics. We value individuals who have an analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication skills both within and outside your team, an interest for technology as well as human relations and a curiosity to learn and explore new ways of doing things

Important Information:

  • Candidates are expected to work from our office in Gothenburg 3-4 days a week

  • Suggested work period: Beginning of June to end of August(with the possibility of taking a few weeks off)
