Boeing Company’s Chief Aerospace Safety organization (CASO) is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Program Manager (Level L) to lead our Safety Experience and Promotion team in Everett, WA. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing our safety culture through innovative training and promotion strategies.

The Senior Program Manager for Internal Safety Promotion, Training and Tools will report to the Director of Safety Experience and Promotion and be responsible for leading a team of 4-6 direct reports that are responsible for internal training and education, safety promotion, adoption and engagement with the Safety Experience Center and online tool.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to a team of direct reports responsible for the strategic implementation and daily execution of safety training, education and promotion initiatives.

  • Training Development: Lead the development and execution of Safety Management System (SMS) training, collaborating with Boeing Learning, Communications, external vendors, and internal business partners.

  • Safety Experience Center Oversight: Manage the Safety Experience Center team, including participation in high-visibility tours, presentations, and events.

  • Tool Engagement: Ensure the health, adoption, and engagement with Safety Promotion tools, such as the Safety Experience website and SMS website.

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and external teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety promotion programs and oversee their implementation. Create and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of safety promotion programs, reporting results to senior leadership.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices in safety promotion.

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in either program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines.

  • Experience in leading teams or projects either formally or informally, in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in developing and implementing successful safety programs, along with knowledge of industry best practices.

  • Experience in developing and delivering effective communication strategies, training programs, and digital media content to enhance stakeholder engagement and support program objectives.

  • Proven ability to manage and empower teams in ambiguous environments.

  • Excellent program management skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Adept at presenting to leadership and large groups, demonstrating executive presence.

  • Experience with Regulatory Administration and Regulators

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range:

  • $168,300 - $227,700
