Boeing Defense, Space, and Security is seeking Project Management Specialist - (Lead or Senior Lead) (Level 4 or 5) to join our B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) Propulsion team in Everett, WA!

Boeing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Specialist to support the B-52 Re-Engine Program’s Propulsion Integrated Product Team (IPT). This role will be pivotal in supporting the Propulsion IPT’s execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program management, control account management, aerospace engineering, and aircraft systems. This position will report directly to the Propulsion IPT leader.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Propulsion IPT projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of program activities.
  • Develop and maintain Propulsion IPT schedules, risk management plans, and performance metrics to track progress and identify potential issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including government customers, internal leadership, and external partners, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns.
  • Facilitate program reviews and meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements, including adherence to the Department of Defense (DoD) standards.
  • Perform Control Account Manager (CAM) duties including material integration, monthly estimate to complete validation, and annual comprehensive estimate to complete validation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the Propulsion IPT’s efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and guide project management staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Experience developing executive level presentations
  • Experience in a role that required excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • EVM trained / CAM Certified
  • 1+ year of experience performing variance analysis

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel: Occasionally travel domestically, when necessary

Summary pay range:

Level 4                $115,600 - $156,400

Level 5                $141,950 - $192,050
