Job Description

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Systems Engineer (F-15) to join our team located in Berkeley, MO.

This position will support the F-15 program quality processes during production, including data analysis and root cause corrective actions. This position will work closely with engineering groups, production teams and leadership and therefore, will require candidates to have extensive experience working with cross-functional teams and gathering data for analysis and presentation to senior leadership and partners.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of program processes and documentation.
  • Provides interpretation of complex requirements.
  • Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities.
  • Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
  • Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances.
  • Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Develops and implements corrective actions.
  • Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • More than 5 years of experience in Quality
  • More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
  • More than 5 years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
  • More than 5 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • More than 5 years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • More than 3 years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 7 years of experience in Quality
  • More than 5 years of experience working in Aerospace, Manufacturing or in a regulated industry
  • More than 5 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer

Summary pay range: USD 108,800 – 147,200
