Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Procurement Multi-Family/Supply Chain Manager (Level K) to join out Air Dominance – Air Proprietary 1 team in Berkeley, MO! In this role, the Supply Chain Manager will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team building next generation, state-of-the-art capabilities. This position will include both contracting and business/program facing responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of authorized agents of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
  • Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of both goods and services in support of AP programs, inclusive of supplier assessment/development, supplier performance management/improvement, and development of AP1 CONOPs, Process, and Metrics
  • Responsible for developing negotiating strategies and managing cost, schedule, technical performance in a dynamic development environment
  • Partners with technical and finance stakeholders on change management while managing/mitigating Estimated at Completion (EAC) growth
  • Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
  • Proactively performs risk, issue, and opportunity management
  • Develop and perpetuate a team culture of transparency, collaboration, and inclusion

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management

  • 3+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

  • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $110,500 – $136,500

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
