The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the team in Long Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC; or Renton, WA

Join our team as a Senior Full Stack Developer with back-end data development, where you will fill a critical role essential for maintaining the continuity of our end-to-end development processes! In this vital position, you will focus on both front-end and back-end systems, with a strong emphasis on database management and data-driven functionality that enhances our customer experience.

Your expertise will be key in delivering innovative digital market product solutions, ensuring robust support for our business partners in Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Global Services (BGS). Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs

  • Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements

  • Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications

  • Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance

  • Identifies and recommends improvements

  • Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with database technologies using SQL or PL/SQL

  • 3+ years of experience in software development

  • 3+ years of experience with web applications and hand-writing code for programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PERL

  • 3+ years of experience with languages including C++, Python, Java and Ruby

  • 3+ years of experience with RESTFul APIs

  • 3+ years of experience in Git

  • 3+ years of experience in an agile work environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Cloud certifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with containerization (Docker)

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability

  • Experience collaborating with team members and stakeholders

  • Experience mentoring junior developers and guide project direction

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $113,900 – $164,450
