The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Safety and Health Specialist to join our Environmental, Health and Safety organization in Hazelwood MO, or Berkeley, MO.

Join Boeing's Test and Evaluation (BT&E) team in St. Louis as a Senior Safety Specialist and be at the forefront of ensuring safe and effective testing of our cutting-edge aerospace products! Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans, implements and assesses occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

  • Develops and leads training and instructions

  • Interprets and advises on the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

  • Evaluates and provides selection advice on existing or emergent risk management control technologies

  • Leads audits, inspections and investigations and coordinates resolution of issues

  • Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

  • Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions

  • Analyzes emerging technology for the identification of potential hazards and control methods

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

  • 5+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals

  • Experience in design for fall protection systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $110,500 – $149,500
