Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Order Launch) based out of Hazelwood, MO. Members of the Order Launch team within Supply Chain Execution are responsible for reviewing both Government and Commercial orders for Executability and releasing Purchase Requisitions to Supplier Management or orders to Boeing Manufacturing. This involves orders for transactional spares as well as Performance Based Logistics. This position requires collaboration with Engineering, Supplier Management, Contracts, Program, and other Supply Chain organizations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Releasing of requirements to support transactional spares, Performance Based Logistics Spares while focusing on first time quality and cycle time
  • Review and validate complex documents with attention to detail
  • Partnering with numerous functions to meet customer commitments and problem solve
  • Focus on continuous improvement and process improvement
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and cross functionally
  • Partner with Engineering, Supplier Management, Program Management, and Contracts and Pricing to ensure orders are moving throughout the Supply Chain Value Stream

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ year of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain processes
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience working both independently and in team environments
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $65,750 - $86,250
