Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for Systems & Data Analyst to join their team in Englewood, CO. This position will focus on supporting the Jeppesen Geospatial Data Management (GDM) business organization.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with the GDM, IT, and Software Development teams to provide world class service and support, helping to enable the business to meet their organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a technical liaison between the Geospatial Data Management production organization and information technology professionals, providing core Airport Mapping Database/Airport Moving Map (AMDB/AMM) support to end users.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, and data issues, including but not limited to system/tool functionality, configuration, connectivity, and utilization; escalates issues to the appropriate technical service groups as necessary.  Results of investigation may require customer spot-training.  Actively contributes to defined support process and activities.
  • Collaborates with appropriate internal service and quality organizations to ensure technical consistency of new processes, tools, and/or data to meet quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.  Supports system testing activities, as required.
  • Collaborates with end users, requirement analysts, architects, and developers during all phases of the development life-cycle.
  • Helps translates business requirements into functional specifications used for software development planning, development, testing, and production transition.
  • Conducts technical research and analysis on proposed system development, enhancements, and/or data modifications to help determine feasibility, cost, impact, and compatibility with current production systems.
  • Collaborates with GDM to ensure proposed system development is in alignment with business architecture.
  • Defines, collects, analyzes, and validates metrics in regards to system and tool performance to enable timely and effective decision making.  Analyzes technical system performance metrics for trends, researches issues, and proposes resolutions.
  • Leads and facilitates systems integration activities to ensure the effective and efficient transition of new tools and systems deployed to the GDM production environment.  Effectively leverages available resources to accomplish defined systems integration activities. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1-2 years professional experience in GDM or IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • GIS suite knowledge
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to cooperate with internal partners in a multicultural and global environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiar with AMDB/AMM processes, tools, and data specifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in management/technical field or equivalent
  • ITSM experience
  • Tools and support/internal services knowledge
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, positive attitude
  • Willingness to create and implement process improvements and ability to see the big picture

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $75,650.00-$102,350.00
