The Boeing Company is looking for an Training Systems Support Center (TSSC) Manager to manage the training efforts for the C-17. The position is located at Altus AFB, OK.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operation of training systems to include formal course scheduling, training device monitoring, training system change management and systems improvements.
  • Work closely with the Site Lead and Logistics Manager to ensure a quality training support program is established and maintained.
  • The selected applicant will report to a Senior Manager based in St. Louis and will drive execution of existing program tasks as well as support efforts to grow the business. 
  • Responsible for integrating products and capabilities with other sites and leading continuous improvement efforts.
  • This role has significant opportunity for leadership exposure and skill development, ability to execute independently and setting new standards for excellence is expected.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in leading or managing a team of 5 or more people
  • Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
  • Experience with guiding implementation of new processes and best practices
  • Aviation training  or Aerospace support experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Previous training management experience
  • Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM (earned value management)
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the post 24 months is considered active.).

Summary pay rate: $105,400 to $142,600

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
