Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to be a part of the Integrated Aero Structures/ Advanced Metals Structures leadership team in Auburn Washington.

A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading cross-functional manufacturing teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office tool suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
  • 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment

Shift:

This position is for 1st or 2nd shift and will be determined at the time of offer. Successful candidates should expect to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime as appropriate to business needs.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $152,100 - $185,900
